Costs: $80 Per person + $50 for Riso Screen Print (take home & keep printing)

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

This is a introduction class to screen printing using modern equipment. Work on your own projects while benefiting from the guidance of Cee. The atmosphere is vibrant and social, filled with lots of laughter and creative energy. If you’re curious about design, fashion & art, this class is for you! The following are the projects to tackle on the day:

T-Shirt, Tote Bag, Textile, Leather, any clothing you wish to re-design. Set of 5 A4 Posters/Cards/Flyers/what ever you Fancy. Looking at fashion and how to create your own “Look”. Learn to take a piece of artwork/design/photo of your choosing, expose it onto a RISO screen, then print onto your choice of surface.

You'll receive textiles & 5 x sheets of poster paper to print onto & your own t-shirt or fashion item you bring along, as your project for the day. You’ll have access to all the equipment you need.

GAIN CONFIDENCE IN:

Printing onto different items (eg fabric, leather, paper, t-shirts). Why fashion and design has a powerful impact. Writing a design brief. Why do we wear clothes. Design with intention gives great power to how we relate. Copyright and the art of appropriation. Imitation is the best way to learn.

COST INCLUDES:

Practice fabrics, RISO positives, Ink and tool access. Poster paper to print onto and take home inc the RISO mesh screen. Optional plastic frame.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Design/image/logo you wish to use to make Riso screen. PDF format 210mm x 150 mm

• Clothes/T-Shirt/Merch/Journals you are wanting to apply this art on

• Pen and paper to write notes on (if you'd like to)
