Your host Jalberto, is born and raised in Caracas Venezuela, a place rich in rhythm culture, to later absorbed further musical influences from Caribbean countries and beyond. Jalberto’s heart thrives in Afro-Latin percussion and songwriting applied to Folkloric and contemporary genres.
This workshop will explore BOMBA rhythms from Puerto Rico. Exploring claves, technique and instrumental orchestration.
